In-Person English Classes in Bethesda
Nancy Traver
I have taught in-person advanced English classes in Bethesda since 2016, working with small groups of students. My class incorporates video news clips, vocabulary and discussions about breaking news in the U.S. and abroad.
My background
I was a correspondent for more than 25 years, reporting from New York, Moscow, Washington, Chicago and other cities and a professor of journalism at Northwestern University, University of New Mexico, and Columbia College Chicago. I worked for The Associated Press, Time magazine, Newsweek, the Chicago Tribune and other publications.
