Each class is built around a central theme. Here are some examples of recent topics:

Where are the biases in American media?
How is artificial intelligence affecting the news industry in the U.S.?
What is the First Amendment and how do U.S. press laws differ from those in foreign countries?
How has news coverage of mental illness and disabilities changed in the American media?

In-Person Classes help students thrive in their communication skills, their relationships, and their lives. This class is unique; we not only study the English language but also learn about the diverse and complicated nation in which we live. I look forward to welcoming you to my class.

Class size is limited to six students. Research shows that small classes are one of the most important factors in learning a foreign language. You will have ample opportunity to speak, ask questions and engage with students from all over the world.
